Worried about the “Summer Slide” affecting your child?
Oftentimes over the summer, students are too busy having fun to find the motivation to continue their reading! Here at MamaBear, we understand that, and we are here to help spark a love of learning even throughout the dog days of summer!
Your children have worked too hard during the school year to regress in their literacy skills which is why we are SO excited to announce that we will be offering three different literacy classes this summer: Kindergarten readiness, grades 1-2 and grades 3-5! Students will work with a certified teacher who specializes in English Language Arts. In a small group setting, she will work to engage learners in a worthwhile text while having some fun along the way!
Our main goal will be to enhance students' reading and writing skills, but we will definitely be sprinkling in some creativity along the way. We hope you will come learn with us!

Kindergarten Readiness ages 4 and 5
Tuesdays 9:30am-10:45am
7/30, 8/6, 8/13, 8/20
Cost: $150 (taxes and fees included)
1st-2nd Grade
Tuesdays 5:30pm-7:30pm
7/30, 8/6, 8/13, 8/20
Cost: $180 (taxes and fees included)
3rd-5th Grade
Wednesdays 5:30pm-7:30pm
7/31, 8/7, 8/14, 8/21
Cost: $180 (taxes and fees included)
The fine print:
CLASS CAPACITY: There is a minimum enrollment of 8 students for the sessions to start and a maximum of 16 students per session. If a class has less than 8 students enrolled 2 days prior to the date of the class, it will be cancelled, and you will be offered a choice to reschedule or be refunded.
DRESS CODE: We firmly believe in exploring the process freely without worrying about getting messy, we prefer old play clothes that you won't mind getting dirty or stained.
MAKE-UP POLICY: Because spots are limited and individual materials are provided, if you miss a class they cannot be made up and payment will not be refunded or transferred.
CANCELLATION POLICY: All cancellations have a $10 fee. Any cancellations must be made within 48 hours to the start of a session or drop-in class.
MamaBear Play Studio reserves the right to decline a family from attending class due to disruption to the class or harm to another student.
